If you’re expecting a story about an app that helps you find posh deals on Rodeo Drive, that’s not what Lovvvit is all about. Lovvvit was just recently released into the iOS app store by founder, movie producer and Broadway producer Max Gottlieb.
Lovvvit is a recommendation app that’s based on videos and improves interaction between local businesses and their best customers. Long are the days when everyone is waiting for the latest daily deals app. Recommendation and rewards apps seem to be the app du jour.

There’s an undercurrent of local business owners across the United States who are underwhelmed with the overall daily deals experience. While daily deals sites are great at attracting one time customers, in order to get the traction required for those customers, small business owners have to eat into their margins and sometimes, even lose money on those deals.
Lovvvit is a place where people show off their favorite places to eat, drink, and shop using videos that they create to do that. Businesses are rewarded with word-of-mouth referrals by the customers who create the videos. Businesses can than in turn reward those loyal customers that create videos of those businesses. Businesses that are the subject of these videos can also share the videos on their websites and with other customers and perspective customers whenever they want.
Lovvvit is available now in the iTunes app store and is coming soon to Android. This is one of the first in what’s sure to be a wave of recommendation and reward apps that we will see in the coming months.
